Starter's Guide to Playing Minecraft

Is it your first time playing Minecraft? If so keep reading and I will tell you how to make your first Minecraft night well and safe!

First thing you have to do, once you have started playing Minecraft is getting wood. Main priority to your first night on Minecraft is always getting wood. You will want to get 16 to 17 pieces of Wood. In order to get wood you will have to hit a tree by clicking and holding looking at one piece of a tree. Once the tree falls you grab it and keep going to get 17 pieces. To open your inventory and see how many things you have and a small 2x2 workbench press E. Once you get 17 Pieces of wood you will want to Press E and put the 17 pieces of wood into the 2x2 workbench and you will click on the new pieces of wood it will make! You will be able to make 64 pieces of wood and 4 extra to make a real workbench. To make a real workbench you will have to put 1 piece of wood with 1 piece of wood in each of the 2x2 box. Once you've done that you have created a new workbench. You will click on the new created work bench to put into one of the many squares below that.

Second thing you will want to do in your first Minecraft night is to make a wooden pickaxe.

How you ask?

You will first place your workbench down on the floor by scrolling over to it and then right clicking with it in your hand. Once you place it you will make sticks! Follow this...

Once you've done that you will get 4 sticks! I would recommend making at least 12. Once you've got your sticks you can now follow this and make a wooden pickaxe!

Once you have done so, you will now have a pickaxe!

Step three to surviving your first night in Minecraft.

*IMPORTANT*

Once you have now gotten a wooden Pickaxe you will want to get coal!

Why coal?

Coal is a very important part to surviving your first night. Coal will help you create torches!

Torches Help you create lighting in your house, or little hole if not fast enough.

Coal will look like stone with small spots of black.

Once you have found coal you will want to do the following to make in workbench or 2x2 workbench.

I would recommend doing about 20 or so.

Once you have completed all of the above! You will want to go make a small hole of some sort to start making a house!
